Retreat Center Re-Model

With a brief pause from Retreat Center guests we tore into the main lodge bathrooms, replacing flooring, repainting, fixing valves and, most importantly, ushering in a NEW hanging urinal. The excitement here,  beside the sleek new chevron shape that allows for proper positioning, is the replacement of the old urinal which with the drain at floor level. Needless to say, after twenty years of use (and misuse) our bathroom cleaning efforts will be much more pleasant. True to our Learning Center mission, one of our interns oversaw the entire project, laying Marmoleum for the first time, tearing old sub-floor out, re-mounting toilets. And, true to form, the project became more involved as it progressed and saw much of our staff working some late nights together in order to reassemble the facilities in time for the next reservation. We pulled it off, and our main lodge bathrooms are now that much more fashionable.
