Facilitator and Guest Office

We have a private office with a telephone, photocopier/printer and general office supplies on the main floor of Canyon Lodge for facilitator use. Please note: Cell phone service is limited in Tierra’s canyon. Phones in the rooms are able to receive incoming calls. Outgoing calls can be made from the guest office in the lodge.

Library – On the lower level of Canyon Lodge, the library provides a quiet and comfortable space to meet, read, or find an interesting book from our selection.

Outdoor Hot Tub – Relax and unwind after a productive day in our hot tub set amongst the Forest Suites.

Massage – On-site massages can be arranged with our guest services staff. A 72 hour advance notice is required.

Yoga – Enrich your stay at Tierra by adding a morning or evening yoga class option to your retreat schedule. Our “Peaceful Yurt” Yurt offers a quiet space for your practice. Please call two weeks in advance for availability and cost.

Organic Garden – Tierra Garden Organics welcomes your to visit Tierra’s certified organic gardens in the evening hours.  For more information, click here.

Lavender Labyrinth – A labyrinth is said to be a metaphor for the “journey of life” - a meditation and spiritual instrument that can bring balance to the mind by using both the left and right brain while walking the labyrinth. Our labyrinth-style lavender garden, located in the meadow below Canyon Lodge, offers a centuries-old method for reflection, guidance and rejuvenation, as well as aromatherapy!

Hiking & Biking – Late spring through fall, the Cascade Mountains are a hiking and biking destination and Tierra maintains several miles of trails for guests to enjoy and explore. Trails offer breathtaking views of the Canyon and the Mountains beyond, glimpses of abundant wildflowers and opportunities to appreciate the birds and other wildlife. Bicycles are available for exploring Tierra’s grounds or bring your own.

Games Within dribbling distance of Canyon Lodge, we have a basketball court, a tennis court and a volleyball court located in Recreation meadow with an open soccer playing field. Just in front of Canyon Lodge, you will also find old fashioned horse shoe pits.

Challenge Ropes Course

Located just beyond the Pond, Washington State University Extension, Chelan County, operates a Challenge Ropes Course at Tierra Learning Center. Offering experiential education experiences, WSU Challenge programs develop supportive working communities. Custom designed programs for youth and adults are offered. Off Site Activities

While visiting Tierra, explore myriad opportunities in the beautiful Wenatchee River Valley and Cascade Mountains. The Leavenworth area is an all-season destination and offers a wide variety of outdoor activities for all ages and interests. During spring, summer and fall months there is hiking, horseback riding, bird watching, rafting, kayaking, river tubing, rock climbing and mountain biking. During the winter months enjoy cross country or downhill skiing, sleigh rides, snow tubing and snow shoeing.
