Plans are underway for the Tierra Challenge in February |
Every winter, Tierra’s Trails Program offers weekly adaptive cross-country skiing and snowshoe training for adults with IDD, promoting fitness, confidence, and access to winter recreation.
This year, we’re working putting on the Tierra Challenge—a two-day regional competition at Tierra Learning Center that brings together individuals with developmental disabilities for adaptive racing, community, and celebration, replacing the discontinued Special Olympics event.
The event will take place February 28 to March 1st. We are looking for sponsors as well as volunteers. If you are interested in helping with this event please click here to contact Meeche White. |
